Valerie Dass has been a member of the Tyler Community since 1984 moving from Los Angeles, Calif. From 1971 to 1978 she traveled extensively throughout the US and Canada as a singer/entertainer with a well known show band – Music Media Management Corporation. Based out of New York City, she left the Show Band and then moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her ambition of becoming a singer/songwriter. There she studied voice and Music Theater at Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California.

Valerie Dass found the perfect setting for teaching in the Charlotte Floyd Music Studio. It is her desire to teach her love of music and to inspire other singers to accomplish their heart’s desire to become the best they can be.

Valerie Dass directs a Kid’s Performance Workshop at the Charlotte Floyd Music Studio. This is a 4-week vocal/performance workshop for young students who love to sing, ages 6-12 years old.
